This notice covers Winzter as we run it here at winzter-online.uk — an independent information portal about the operator, not the operator itself. It sets out what we collect from you as a reader, and separately, what the operator collects once you follow a link from here and register on their own site.
Scope of this notice
We are the data controller for information you give us directly — through a contact form, an email to our inbox, or basic analytics generated by visiting our pages. We are not the data controller for anything you submit once you register with Winzter itself; their own privacy terms govern that relationship, not ours.
Categories of information
From a visit to this portal, we hold very little: your IP address and device type via standard analytics, and whatever you type into a contact form (name, email, message). We do not run an account system and do not ask for identity documents.
Once you register directly with the operator, their own stated practice is to collect considerably more: name, email, date of birth, country of citizenship, physical address, an ID number, a government-issued ID, location data, device information and IP address. That data is gathered through their registration form, ongoing communications, and general use of their site — none of it passes through us.
What that data gets used for
On the operator's side, this information supports identity verification (KYC), managing marketing subscriptions, running and improving their service, account security, promotional messages, and meeting legal and regulatory obligations — including investigating suspected unlawful activity. On our side, contact-form data is used only to answer the question you sent us.
Lawful basis
We process contact-form and analytics data on the basis of legitimate interest — running a functioning, informative site — and consent, where a cookie banner asks for it. Anything collected further down the chain, by the operator, sits on their own lawful basis, which their own privacy notice sets out.
Sharing with third parties
We share analytics data with the standard third-party tools that generate it and nothing else — we do not sell reader data to anyone. We have no visibility into, and no control over, how the operator shares data collected on their own platform.
Your rights and how to use them
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or erase data we hold about you, restrict or object to its processing, request it in a portable format, or withdraw consent at any point. Write to [email protected] and we will act on it; requests concerning your Winzter player account need to go to the operator directly, since we have no access to it.
The supervisory authority for UK data protection is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), and you can raise a complaint with them if you're not satisfied with how a request was handled.
Protection of minors
This site and the product it discusses are restricted to persons aged 18 and over (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age, and any account created in breach of that restriction is a matter for the operator's own verification process, not ours.
Changes to this notice
We update this page when what we collect, or why, changes materially. The version here is current as of 6 August 2026.
